For years, I put myself last because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.

As a single mom with no financial support, I had to do it all and be it all for my son, right?

I was careening from one thing to the next. I had no time for myself because I was pouring everything I had into my son, my job and other of life’s umpteen responsibilities. And, although most would have called me "stylish,” clothes were always last on my financial priority list because they felt like a frivolous, indulgent expense.

I was stressed, overwhelmed and just plain spent. And it showed.

I thought I was doing the things I needed to in order to control my stress. Heck, I meditated each morning and did hot yoga four times a week. Why wasn’t I blissfully centered?

It wasn’t until I REALLY put myself first that I began to experience the life I always wanted.

I sold my house to make life simpler, paid off bills that were hanging over my head, quit my “corporate” job, really opened myself up to finding love and pursued a dream to help women look and feel amazing through personal style.

MY WISH FOR YOU

Put yourself first and discover your unique style. It’s not selfish. You’re not just buying clothes and doing retail therapy. My client Caryn couldn’t have said it better:

“[Laura] taught me that getting dressed is about feeling good within yourself and being fashionable is just an added bonus!”

When you feel good on the inside, it’s obvious on the outside. And you show up stronger in all aspects of your life–personally and professionally.

Trust me, you’ll be the kick-butt person you knew you were but just needed a little help to find again.

Stylishly Yours,
